WHERE WE STARTED
Honestly? Starting Foundation Lane was never the plan.
But here we are. And the further we got into building it, the more we realised we didn't want to do what everyone else in this industry does. There is a version of this business that is safe and neat and doesn't ruffle any feathers. We are not that.
Because when you actually stop and think about how people experience building a home, really experience it, you realise that getting your keys is only the beginning. You move into this beautiful home and somehow the furniture doesn't quite work. There are things still unfinished that you keep meaning to get to. And slowly, quietly, instead of feeling proud of what you built, you feel a little flat about it.
That feeling is what we are here to prevent. Everyone deserves to be house proud. Every single person, regardless of budget. And we knew we could do this better.
So we did.

Director and Build Specialist
Laura's superpower is people. Not building plans, not design trends, not industry knowledge, although she has all of that. People.
She will ask you things nobody else thought to ask. The questions that seem small but completely change how a space is designed. The ones that get to how you actually live, not how you think you live or how you wish you lived. She is not afraid to ask the obvious question if it means getting your home closer to what it should be.
She will read what you are not saying as quickly as what you are. She will advocate for you hard and push back when something does not feel right. And she will make you feel, from the very first conversation, like someone finally gets it.
That feeling is not an accident. It is just how Laura works.
Maddie
Interior Designer and Client Liaison
Maddie has a way of walking into a space and immediately seeing what it could be. Not what it is. Not what is practical or safe or within the obvious options. What it could actually become for the person who is going to live in it.
With nearly ten years in interior design, she has built a reputation for creating interiors that feel considered and quietly luxurious regardless of the budget she is working with. Her clients consistently say the same thing: that she listened, that she communicated every step of the way, and that what she delivered was beyond anything they had imagined.
That is not a coincidence. That is just Maddie.
Kelsey
Marketing and Client Experience
Every interaction you have with Foundation Lane has been thought about. The way information reaches you. The way milestones are marked. The way the big moments actually feel when they arrive. That is Kelsey's domain.
Her entire role exists to make sure that from your very first conversation with us to the moment you get your keys, you are not just supported but genuinely looked after. The kind of looked after where you feel it.
You will spot her at the moments that matter most, phone in hand, making sure you have the memories to show for it. But long before she gets there she has already been thinking about how to make every step of this journey feel like something worth remembering.
